Centurion SDO4 SMART Garage Door Motor
A 24V DC garage door operator for residential sectional and tip-up doors, available in T10 and higher-capacity T12 versions.
The SDO4 SMART combines battery-backed operation, automatic limit setup, obstruction sensing, code-hopping remote control and compatibility with CENTURION's wireless Photon SMART safety beams.
SDO4 SMART T10 vs T12
The two versions share the same basic operating platform, but the T12 provides higher motor power, push/pull force and lifting capacity for heavier garage doors.

Features Built Around Setup, Safety & Daily Use
Physical end-stops are used with automatic limit setting, helping the operator learn the required open and closed travel positions during commissioning.
The safety obstruction force system is configured through the built-in menu to help the operator react when abnormal resistance is detected.
The SDO4 SMART is compatible with CENTURION Photon SMART fully wireless infrared safety beams for a cleaner safety-beam installation.
The onboard receiver uses CENTURION code-hopping technology at 433.92MHz and supports up to 20 four-button transmitters.
CENTURION lists two onboard channels that can each be configured as either an input or an output, allowing more flexible control integration.
A 2W LED light is built into the operator to provide illumination when the garage door system is used.
Designed to Keep Working Through Power Interruptions
Both T10 and T12 use two 12V 3.4Ah batteries. CENTURION lists up to 90 standby operations, although the real number depends on the garage door's size, weight and height, how long the power is off and the condition of the batteries.
Battery backup should therefore be treated as a practical operating reserve, not as a guaranteed fixed number of cycles for every installation.

What is the difference between the SDO4 SMART T10 and T12?
The T10 is intended for standard domestic doors and is rated at 80W with up to 12 square metres of door area. The T12 is the higher-capacity version, rated at 100W with up to 15 square metres of door area.
Does the SDO4 SMART work during a power outage?
Yes. Both T10 and T12 use two 12V 3.4Ah batteries. CENTURION lists up to 90 standby operations depending on door size, weight, height, the duration of the outage and battery condition.
How fast is the SDO4 SMART?
CENTURION lists a maximum operator travel speed of 9 metres per minute. Actual speed varies with the door load.
